Outreach programs on preventive medicine
Our healthcare programs is a combination of short and long term intervention based efforts largely on prevention, health outreach programs, free drug supplies, medical equipment and complimenting services to public and community healthcare facilities in Sokoto State and beyond.
Our objective for the environment is two pronged – enlightenment and technology. First we have to show the people the impact of climate change most especially from tree felling to make firewood and charcoal to water conservation.
Knowledge is key to development and eradication of poverty among the people, which is why MMAWT focus on education remains core to the entire initiative. We aim to reduce the illiteracy rate in Nigeria especially in Sokoto state.
MMAWT Legacy Initiative pledges total support to the development and welfare of individuals and communities in Sokoto state. Our social work involves donation of items that aid learning, especially in the area of computer literacy and basic education to prison inmates; juvenile delinquence reform, and distribution of food items to those in need.
Agriculture is important to the development of any nation, Nigeria being no exception. Development must include the youth and therefore MMAWT legacy initiative seeks to encourage their participation in the agricultural sector. This effort is driven to change the negative perception of the youth and women especially so we can have their participation in agriculture denouncing the notion that (farmers or farming ) is projected and perceived as a job for the uneducated, unskilled, physical labourers with extremely low economic return.
