The founder of MMAWT Legacy initiative and wife of Sokoto state governor Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Tambuwa who is on maternity leave took time out to visit her Early learning Alma mater , Bayero University staff school in her home state of Kano.
Her visit was on humanitarian grounds and to give back to society and continue the advocacy of Education and literacy !
At hand to receive her was the head teacher and school Board members .
Subsequently , was a visit to the Murtala Mohammed specialist hospital to donate mama kits and other essentials to and for pregnant women , mothers with pre and post natal complex issues and generally interact on maternal issues .
She was received alongside her team of volunteers by the CMD and management of the hospital .
The round was concluded by the volunteer team by visitations to the kano state orphanage , Torrey home and that of persons with special needs which includes the deaf , blind , autistic children , Down syndrome at the Tudun Maliki area .
All of us at MMAWT L.I send our heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to making it a success and we implore and urge others to lend a helping hand to these special needs persons by any means possible .
