Spotting an infectious smile, she has endeared herself to women and the underprivileged in Sokoto State because of her unique style and warm disposition. She has conceptualized and effectively implemented projects that have impacted on women and the vulnerable in Sokoto State. Her efforts have gained her national and international recognition. She is also a reporters delight because of her confident mien and clear grasp of issues. Her brand of activism is one that powerfully asserts the position of women in society without undermining family, religious and cultural values. She is a stickler for details. Her advocacy is evidence-based.
On this occasion of her birthday, I join other well-wishers to salute this exceptional advocate and pride of the womenfolk. May the good Lord continue to guide, protect and strengthen Her Excellency as she rededicates herself to the service of humanity.
