The MMAWT Legacy Initiative in it’s Going Green and Environment agenda recently had a meeting and official signing with the Global Shea Butter Alliance. In attendance were the National president for the association and other executive members including relevant stakeholders. 4 Local government areas have been identified with a rich typology to plant these trees in commercial quantity in Sokoto state.
The Empowerment scheme packages, kits, and materials for all will be distributed across the local governments to better the lives of women, youth and the unemployed of all strata of society.
We will update further during the inauguration and also at the National Shea butter convention which is scheduled to hold by the end of this year.
