Poverty and inequity remain serious challenges for sustainable development and public, private and not-for-profit organizations are responding with new models of partnership.
Businesses or charity – who does more to reduce poverty, Social welfare, Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, Education, climate change? What really matters is outcome and impact.
We believe Information technology, Tele-advocacy, Trainings, incentives, mentorship and innovation is the best and most logical means to drive these projects and programs. It undoubtedly makes a lot of sense that the different sectors are pairing up to share skill sets, ideas and leverage on the opportunities abound.
The Founder of MMAWT foundation, Hajiya Maryam Mairo who also has been the C.E.O of oracle Ltd in 2007 till date attended a strategy deliberation and callaboration commitment between OIS LTD , UNICEF , THE WHITE RIBBON AlLIANCE, GLOBAL FUND TB $ AIDS Desk team , TREX CORP ,IRI and CIFF unveiled the mantra’ ADVOCACY, WORKBOX and TRAINING as concentration mandate to implement the desired objective. Truancy and Social welfare we believe deserves serious intervention on community levels across the geo-political zones.
The series of meetings was held at the OIS LTD and MMAWT office in Abuja where she was presented with a plaque of accreditation by CHILDREN INVESTMENT FUND FOUNDATION’s Director Survive and Thrive Saving lives, MS Georgina Fakete.
The Global fund – Tuberclosis/ HIV who also had certified and invested her to be the TB /HIV ambassador for the programme. Aisha Ella John represented the Global fund at the meeting.
The humanitarian outreach is intended to be at random locations identified by key stakeholders where humanity is concerned. Work tools, policy documents, Town hall meetings and sessions, strategy implementation and compliance, incentives and intervention plans, advocacy and campaign manuals will be provided to accelerate the purpose for target persons. This is in line with some of the pledges and commitments made.

All of us at MMAWT initiative would like to use this medium to thank all development partners and stakeholders determined to make this SPV impactful. Special mention to IRI whom has since deployed Miss Amina Yahaya who is a MMAWT ambassador for a 1year mentoring and service at their Abuja presence in the country.
