The commissioner of Health, Alh. Balarabe Kakale seized the medium to launch the ‘psychological, mental and health’ checks which were carried on all participants to determine their fitness and boost their confidence prior to the debate. The Sokoto Traditional institution also by their representation did a presentation to canvass more opinion mounding by discussing the cultural and religious perspectives on ‘ child marriage , child abuse , Education and societal wellbeing ‘ The wife of the governor, Hajiya Maryam Mario Aminu Waziri Tambuwal later hosted children to an organised children’s party to celebrate the international children’s day and her birthday which coincides with this day.
The party was attended by children from all strata of society, invited from all over the state and was also graced and coordinated by the MMAWT Legacy initiative team and the state Honorable Commissioner (Ministry of Women and children affairs)Hajiya Kulu Abdullahi Sifawa.
